Jose Berrios and Joakim Soria, the Toronto Blue Jays' biggest trade deadline acquisitions, have reported to the team and will be active for Sunday's game against the Kansas City Royals.

To make room on the roster, right-hander Thomas Hatch and left-hander Tayler Saucedo have been optioned to triple-A, the team announced.

In an unrelated lineup decision, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. will not be playing, marking his first day off of the season.

Berrios, who the Blue Jays acquired in the deadline day blockbuster that sent prospects Austin Martin and Simeon Woods Richardson to the Minnesota Twins, has a 3.48 ERA and 126 strikeouts over 20 starts this season.

The 37-year-old Soria has six saves this season, with a 4.30 ERA in 31 games. An American League all-star in 2008 and 2010, the Mexican right-hander has 229 career saves and 822 strikeouts with a 3.06 ERA.
