The New York Mets have extended qualifying offers to starting pitchers Sean Manaea and Luis Severino, according to Jon Heyman of the NY Post.
Manaea, 32, went 12-6 with a 3.47 ERA last season over 181.2 innings of work and had a WHIP of 1.08. The Mets made a $21.05 million offer to him, according to Heyman.
Severino, 30, posted an 11-7 record and a 3.91 ERA. The Dominican right-hander had a WHIP of 1.24 over 182 innings. No figures were reported for Severino.
