The Philadelphia Phillies have claimed left-handed pitcher Andrew Vasquez off waivers from the Toronto Blue Jays.
Vasquez had been on minor-league rehab assignment in the Florida Complex League, then with triple-A Buffalo, in July following an ankle injury.
The 28-year-old held an 8.10 ERA and threw six strikeouts in 6.2 innings for the Blue Jays this season.
