With the MLB cancelling regular season games as the labour dispute continues with the players, Tim Micallef ponders if the sport of professional baseball could become extinct.

One day after momentum seemed to be building towards the end of the MLB lockout, negotiations fell apart Tuesday and commissioner Rob Manfred officially started cancelling regular-season games.

The announcement prompted plenty of frustrated players and fans to take to social media to share their takes on the situation.
