Red Sox trade Hunter Renfroe to Brewers for Jackie Bradley Jr., prospects

The Boston Red Sox have traded outfielder Hunter Renfroe to the Milwaukee Brewers for Jackie Bradley Jr. and minor league prospects Alex Binelas and David Hamilton.

Bradley Jr. returns to the Red Sox, the team that drafted him and where the outfielder spent eight years before going to the Brewers as a free agent last off-season.

The 31-year-old hit .163/.236/.261 with six home runs and 29 RBIs in 134 games played in 2021.

Renfroe produced a .259/.315/.501 slash line last season with 31 home runs and 96 RBIs in 521 at-bats.
