The Los Angeles Dodgers continue to make pushes for top free agents.
According to multiple reports, the Dodgers are close to a deal with reliever Kirby Yates.
The deal, per Bob Nightengale of USA Today, is pending a physical for Yates, who joins a stacked Dodgers bullpen.
The 37-year-old had a standout season with the Texas Rangers in 2024, posting a 1.17 ERA over 61.2 innings with 33 saves.
In 10 seasons, Yates has pitched in 411.1 innings, posting a 3.17 ERA with 95 saves.
The move comes just days after the Dodgers signed Tanner Scott to a four-year, $72 million contract.
The Dodgers have been busy this off-season signing some of the top names available in free agency, including Roki Sasaki, Teoscar Hernandez, Blake Treinen, Blake Snell, and Tommy Edmon.
