Josue De Paula's MLB debut appears to be on the horizon.
The Los Angeles Dodgers are calling up the 21-year-old outfielder from double-A, ESPN's Alden Gonzalez reported Wednesday.
De Paula will join the Dodgers on Friday for the start of their three-game series with the Miami Marlins.
He is the Dodgers' top-ranked prospect and the No. 6 prospect in baseball, per MLB Pipeline.
De Paula will skip the triple-A level after slashing .302/.400/.539 with 26 home runs and 101 RBIs in 123 games at double-A Tulsa this season.
His promotion comes with Dodgers stars Shohei Ohtani and Freddie Freeman both dealing with injuries.
