The Los Angeles Dodgers may not have Tyler Glasnow at his best for Game 7 of the World Series (Sportsnet, 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT)
Glasnow is dealing with side discomfort after throwing the final three pitches of Game 6 on Friday, according to Tom Verducci on the Fox pre-game show.
The 32-year-old started Game 3 of the World Series against the Toronto Blue Jays, tossing 4.2 innings of four-run ball.
Glasnow has never pitched on back-to-back days in his MLB career.
He is expected to mix into the Dodgers' plans beyond Shohei Ohtani in the winner-take-all Game 7, so the news that he may be limited could impact how long the right-hander would pitch if he enters the game.
