John Gibbons has reportedly found a new home.
The former Toronto Blue Jays manager has joined the Los Angeles Angels as their bench coach, according to Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register.
Gibbons previously served as Blue Jays skipper from 2004-2008 and 2013-2018, notably managing the team to back-to-back AL Championship Series in 2015 and 2016.
Gibbons spent the past two seasons as the bench coach for the New York Mets, where he helped the team to the 2024 NLCS, losing out to the eventual World Series champion Dodgers in six games.
This is the latest addition for the Angels as they continue to round out the coaching staff of new manager Kurt Suzuki, who was promoted to the role on Oct. 21.
