Randy Dobnak can start driving west.
The pitcher and former Uber driver is signing a minor-league contract with the Seattle Mariners, ESPN's Jeff Passan reported on Tuesday. The deal includes an invite to spring training.
Dobnak, 30, was driving for Uber and Lyft before being called up by the Minnesota Twins in 2019.
He has spent parts of every season with the Twins since then, appearing in 39 games while posting a 4.86 ERA.
The South Park, Penn., native pitched in just one game last season, allowing two hits and one run over 5.1 innings.
He'll further bolster a Mariners pitching corps that helped lead Seattle to within one win of its first World Series appearance.
