The Miami Marlins have reached an agreement with Atlanta Braves outfielder Jorge Soler on a three-year, $36 million contract, according to ESPN's Jeff Passan.

Soler’s contract comes with opt-outs after the first and second seasons.

The two-time World Series winner is entering his ninth season at 30 years old, and was a crucial piece to the Chicago Cubs' victory over Cleveland in the 2016 World Series. Soler was also awarded the 2021 Willie Mays World Series MVP by helping the Atlanta Braves topple the Houston Astros 4-2.
