The Baltimore Orioles have agreed to a one-year contract with right-handed pitcher Kyle Gibson, The Athletic senior writer Ken Rosenthal reported Saturday.
The deal is pending a physical, according to Rosenthal.
Gibson posted a 10-8 record with a 5.05 ERA and 144 strikeouts over 31 starts with the Philadelphia Phillies this past season.
The 35-year-old also made two relief appearances during the postseason as the Phillies reached the World Series. He pitched 2.1 innings giving up zero runs and two hits while recording two strikeouts.
Gibson holds an 89-91 career record, 4.52 ERA and 1,202 strikeouts over 10 seasons with the Minnesota Twins, Texas Rangers and Phillies.
