The Colorado Rockies signed right-handed pitcher Dakota Hudson and catcher Jacob Stallings to one-year contracts, the team announced Friday.
Hudson posted a 6-3 record, 4.98 ERA and 45 strikeouts in 18 games, 12 starts, with the St. Louis Cardinals last season.
The 29-year-old from Dunlap, Tenn., holds a career 38-20 record and 3.84 ERA over six seasons in St. Louis.
Stallings had three home runs and 20 RBIs with a .191/.278/.286 slash line last season with the Miami Marlins.
The 34-year-old from Lawrence, Kansas, has a career .235 average with 24 homers and 148 RBIs over eight seasons with the Pittsburgh Pirates and Marlins.
Colorado finished last in the National League last season with a 59-103 record.
