Top prospect Ricky Tiedemann is among a group of 19 non-roster prospects invited to Toronto Blue Jays spring training.
Tiedemann, a left-handed pitcher, is Toronto's No. 1 prospect according to MLB Pipeline and a candidate to start games at the MLB level this season. He had 58 strikeouts in 11 starts at double-A in 2023 and made his triple-A debut, starting one game at the end of the season for the Buffalo Bisons.
Other notable prospects earning invites to camp include outfielder Alan Roden (No. 7 prospect), right-handed pitcher Chad Dallas (No. 13 prospect) and infielder Damiano Palmegiani (No. 18 prospect).
Pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report to spring training on Feb. 15.
