Animl Steakhouse Toronto has given Bo Bichette an offer that might be too good to pass up.
On Monday, the steakhouse posted a heartfelt message to Instagram, offering the Blue Jays star free steaks for life if he stays in Toronto.
"At Animl, we believe in commitments that last — the craft, the core, and the city we call home. In that spirit, we ask you to re-sign with the Toronto Blue Jays — and consider this our promise:
"Steaks for life on us. No negotiations. No fine print. Just a standing reservation at our table."
Last summer, the shortstop told CBC that his favourite restaurant in the city is Animl, saying, "It's really good, I love it."
The restaurant, located at Spadina Avenue and Wellington Street, specializes in dry-aged steaks.
However, this isn't the first time that the city of Toronto has seen an offer like this.
In 2019, Le Select and Rodney's Oyster House joined a campaign promising Kawhi Leonard free food and drink for life if he re-signed with the Toronto Raptors following their NBA championship.
Leonard ultimately left that off-season and signed with the Los Angeles Clippers.
Bichette, who is currently a free agent, has been with the Blue Jays since the team drafted him in the second round of the 2016 MLB Draft. He made his debut for the team in 2019.
Over his seven-year career, the 27-year-old has 111 home runs, 437 RBIs and a .294 batting average. He is a two-time all-star.
