The World Baseball Classic saved one last moment of drama for the final.
Venezuela defeated the United States 3-2 in the championship game Tuesday night to claim its first WBC title.
Venezuela had led the game 2-0 before Bryce Harper's eighth-inning home run tied the score. But Eugenio Suraez led his team to victory with an RBI double in the ninth to secure the win.
After the final pitch, baseball fans took to social media to celebrate Venezuela's victory and the overall awesomeness of the WBC.
