The Toronto Blue Jays made some moves on Wednesday, recalling right-handed pitcher Casey Lawrence from Triple-A Buffalo, while sending fellow righty Trent Thornton the other way.

The Blue Jays followed that move up by claiming pitcher Matt Peacock off waivers from the Kansas City Royals.

The right-handed Peacock has an ERA of 5.40 over 10 innings in nine appearances this season and a WHIP of 1.60.
