The Toronto Blue Jays optioned right-hander Jeremy Beasley to triple-A Buffalo following Sunday’s win against the Baltimore Orioles.
The team says a corresponding move will be made ahead of Tuesday’s game against the Miami Marlins.
Beasley has a 0-1 record so far this season. In 9.1 innings pitched, the 25-year-old has a 7.71 ERA, 1.71 WHIP and 13 strikeouts.
The Blue Jays acquired Beasley from the Arizona Diamondbacks in April for cash considerations.
