The Toronto Blue Jays have traded right-hander Mitch White to the San Francisco Giants in exchange for cash considerations, the team announced Saturday.

White, 29, joined the Blue Jays from the Los Angeles Dodgers by way of trade in August 2022.

In 10 innings with Toronto this year, White posted a 5.40 ERA with 10 hits allowed, six strikeouts and four walks.

The reliever was designated for assignment on April 16 after Jordan Romano and Erik Swanson were cleared to return.
