Former Toronto Blue Jays infielder Brandon Drury has agreed to a minor-league contract with the New York Mets, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.
Drury spent the past two-and-a-half seasons with Toronto after the Jays acquired him from the New York Yankees for J.A. Happ in 2018.
While he appeared in 120 games in 2019, his role shrunk in 2020 and he only appeared in 21 games in the shortened season. In 2020, Drury hit .152/.184/.174 with one double and one RBI.
