After dropping the previous two games to the Detroit Tigers, the Toronto Blue Jays are making some changes ahead of Sunday morning’s showdown in Detroit.

After making first start as Toronto’s No. 2 hitter on Saturday, Justin Turner is out of the starting lineup, making way for Daniel Vogelbach.

Turner, after posting an .887 OPS through the season’s opening month, entered play on Saturday with only six hits in May, for a .113 batting average and .308 OPS. Things got worse for the 39-year-old when he went hitless in four at-bats yesterday, dropping his numbers even more.

Additionally, George Springer, who started the first three games of the series, will sit out on Sunday after going 1-for-11 with an RBI and two strikeouts. The 34-year-old’s stats for this campaign aren’t looking any better, as he has a .188 average and .537 OPS through 46 games.
