Blue Jays’ Schneider says that they would have pinch-run for Kirk if he was the tying run

Toronto Blue Jays manager John Schneider was asked about the decision to not use a pinch-runner for catcher Alejandro Kirk and said that if he were the tying run, they would’ve opted to put someone faster on the basepaths.
