The Tampa Bay Rays scored four runs in the ninth to send the game into extra innings and took a 5-4 lead in the 10th, but the St. Louis Cardinals’ JJ Wetherholt hit a two-run single in the bottom half of the inning to give the Cardinals the 6-5 win.
