Toronto Blue Jays slugger Vladimir Guerrero Jr. was scratched from the starting lineup for Sunday’s series finale against the Los Angeles Angels.

Guerrero Jr., who was slated to DH, is out due to a sore left wrist, according to Sportsnet’s Hazel Mae.

The 23-year-old has missed just one game so far this year and has a .256/.347/.451 slash line with nine home runs and 24 RBI during the 2022 campaign.

Raimel Tapia will fill in at DH.

The Blue Jays, who are riding a four-game winning streak, look to complete their first series sweep of the season Sunday. Coverage begins on Sportsnet and Sportsnet NOW at 4 p.m. ET / 1 p.m. PT.
