Let the sprint begin.
MLS unveiled its 2027 Sprint Season schedule on Thursday.
The 14-game season runs from February through May as MLS transitions to its new summer-to-spring competition calendar beginning in July 2027.
Toronto FC opens its season Feb. 20 in Atlanta, while the Vancouver Whitecaps get going that day by welcoming Colorado. CF Montreal then kicks off against Charlotte FC the next day.
The season concludes with Decision Day on May 8.
The top eight teams in each of the two conferences will qualify for the 2027 MLS Cup Playoffs. In each conference, the post-season will be played in a single-elimination bracket format to determine a conference champion.
The MLS Cup will be held in late May.
