Former UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo is set to drop down to the bantamweight division where he’ll face fellow Brazilian Marlon Moraes at UFC 245 in December, according to multiple reports.

Aldo (28-5) has struggled to makes 145 pounds in the past so it’ll be interesting to see how arduous the cut to 135 pounds will be and what impact it might have on his in-cage performance.

The 33-year-old rebounded from back-to-back losses to current featherweight champ Max Holloway with technical knockout wins over Jeremey Stephens and Renato Moicano before losing a unanimous decision to Alexander Volkov at UFC 237 this past May.

Moraes (22–6–1) is coming off a TKO loss to reigning bantamweight champion Henry Cejudo in June, his first stoppage loss in eight years.

UFC 245 takes place Dec. 14 in Las Vegas and is currently scheduled to feature three title fights.
