Anthony Smith is now 2-0 in the UFC’s light-heavyweight division with two decisive victories over a pair of former champions.

Smith made quick work of Mauricio “Shogun” Rua in the main event of a UFC Fight Night show in Hamburg, Germany on Sunday, finishing the Brazilian legend with strikes in a mere 88 seconds. This victory comes just six weeks after it took Smith just 53 seconds to stop Rashad Evans at UFC 225 in early June.

The 29-year-old Corpus Christi, Texas native went 4-2 in the 185-pound middleweight division over the past two years before moving up in weight following a TKO loss to Thiago Santos in February.

Smith is now 30-13 in mixed martial arts and a name to keep an eye on in the 205-pound division.

Meanwhile, Rua (25-11) had his three-fight winning streak snapped. It was the first time since 2014 that Rua was finished.

In the co-main event, Corey Anderson continued to rise up the 205-pound division with a unanimous decision victory over veteran Glover Teixeira.
