Corey Anderson made a successful Bellator MMA debut when he defeated veteran striker Melvin Manhoef in the main event of Bellator 251.
The 31-year-old American used his significant size, strength and grappling advantage against the 44-year-old Dutchman to earn a second-round technical knockout victory thanks to a ground-and-pound attack.
Anderson signed with Bellator MMA in August after spending the past 6 1/2 years competing in the UFC. Anderson holds notable wins over Glover Teixeira, Johnny Walker and current UFC light-heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz.
