Gegard Mousasi made quick work of Austin Vanderford in the main event of Bellator 275.
The middleweight champion defended his title with a technical knockout victory that took less than 90 seconds.
Mousasi has won 12 of his past 13 fights over the past six years. It was his quickest stoppage win since he beat Dan Henderson in the UFC back in 2015.
“I was taking my time, I wanted to hurt him,” Mousasi said after improving to 49-7-2 in MMA. “I never said I was the best middleweight (in the sport), but now I’m going to say it, I’m the best middleweight. From now on I am going to destroy some people. I’m good, I’m confident, I’m at my best ever. I’ve never been so confident in my life.”
