Darrion Caldwell extended his winning streak to four fights with a second-round knockout victory over Noad Lahat in the main event of Friday’s Bellator 204 event in Sioux Falls, S.D.

The current Bellator MMA bantamweight champion moved up to featherweight for this bout with Lahat.

An NCAA Division 1 national champion wrestler out of North Carolina State University, Caldwell is now 13-1 in mixed martial arts since making his professional debut in 2012. Caldwell won Bellator’s 135-pound title last October when he beat Eduardo Dantas at Bellator 184. The 30-year-old Rahway, N.J., native is now looking to become a two-division champion with his move up to the 145-pound weight class.

“The 145-pound strap is going to be mine eventually,” Caldwell told reporters after the event. “Whenever Bellator’s ready for me to fight of the 145-pound title, it’s going to happen. I’m going to be the champion there.”

Patricio “Pitbull” Freire is Bellator’s current featherweight titleholder.

Also at Bellator 204, Logan Storley improved to 9-0 as a pro by finishing A.J. Matthews with a series of elbows and punches in the welterweight co-main event. Rising star James Gallagher was handed his first career loss courtesy of Ricky Bandejas.
