UFC 223 is shaping up nicely with Tony Ferguson vs. Khabib Nurmagomedov and Rose Namajunas vs. Joanna Jedrzejczyk title fights at the top of the card, and the UFC added some more star power to the event Tuesday.
The organization announced Karolina Kowalkiewicz and Felice Herrig are set to face off at the April 7 event in Brooklyn in a battle of top-10 strawweights.

Kowalkiewicz (11-2) snapped a two-fight losing streak in October with a unanimous decision victory over Jodie Esquibel.
Herrig (14-6) is riding a four-fight winning streak, most recently picking up a split decision nod over Cortney Casey at UFC 218 in December.
Kowalkiewicz and Herrig are ranked as the No. 4 and No. 9 contenders, respectively, in the 115-pound division.
