Montreal’s Olivier Aubin-Mercier will fight Leonardo Santos at UFC 212 in the summer, the UFC announced.
The Canadian has gone 5-1 in the UFC following his promotional debut at The Ultimate Fighter Nations finale, with four of his wins coming by submission. Aubin-Mercier (9-2) is coming off back-to-back rear-naked choke victories over Thibault Gouti and Drew Dober. This will be Aubin-Mercier’s first time competing outside North America and just the second time fighting outside Canada.
Santos (16–3–1) is unbeaten in the UFC since winning the TUF Brazil 2 welterweight tournament back in 2013.
