Valentina Shevchenko made it look easy yet again.

The UFC women’s flyweight champion defended her title over the weekend against veteran Liz Carmouche in the featured bout at a UFC Fight Night event in Montevideo, Uruguay.

Shevchenko earned a clean sweep of the scorecards as she out-landed Carmouche 42-18 in significant strikes in a fairly lacklustre five-round main event.

The co-main event was far more eventful as Vicente Luque defeated fellow welterweight Mike Perry by split decision in a Fight of the Night performance.

The back-and-forth slugfest culminated with Luque landing a flying knee late in the final round that broke Perry’s nose and quite literally rearranged his face.
