WINNIPEG — The Aggression Fighting Championship crowned two champions Saturday night at cards in Winnipeg and Edmonton.

Curtis Brigham submitted Mike Adams by armbar at one minute 19 seconds of the fourth round to win the bantamweight title at AFC 16 at the Winnipeg Convention Centre.

Meanwhile in Edmonton, former UFC fighter Razak Al-Hassan choked out Tim Chemelli at 4:13 of the first round to claim the light-heavyweight title at AFC 17 at the Shaw Conference Centre.

NOTE: Also winning in his hometown was Edmonton’s Ryan (The Real Deal) Ford, who defeated Brendan Tierney by knockout from a punch at 3:11 of the second round. In his post-fight interview, Ford called on the UFC to sign him.
