Perennial UFC lightweight contenders Donald Cerrone and Jim Miller are set to meet in a five-round main event this summer.

The bout, which was first reported by Press of Atlantic City and later confirmed by UFC officials, will take place July 16 at the Revel Casino-Hotel in Atlantic City, N.J.

Cerrone (23-6, 1 NC) is riding a three-fight win streak during which he finished Evan Dunham, Adriano Martins and most recently Edson Barboza at UFC on FOX 11 on April 19.

“I told [UFC president Dana White] that I’d fight anyone, anytime,” Cerrone told the Press. “I’m excited to fight a guy like Jim because he always brings it. I am looking forward to coming to a fight town like Atlantic City and throwing down. I’m ready to get another Fight Night bonus.”

Miller (24-4-1) is coming off a submission win over Yancy Medeiros at UFC 172. Following the win, the 30-year-old ask for his next opponent to be a top contender. Cerrone fit the bill.

“I’m very excited to fight Cowboy Cerrone,” Miller said. “He’s a game fighter and I like tough fights. Like me, he likes to put on a good show. This is a tough matchup, but a matchup that was bound to happen. I’m equally excited to be fighting in Atlantic City. Jersey is where I made a name for myself and to headline a card basically at home is going to be a very special experience for me.”

No other fights have been added to the card at this time.
