Swedish middleweight Jack Hermansson will be gunning for a fifth straight victory when he takes on American Jared Cannonier on Saturday in the main event at UFC Fight Night 160 as a strong -250 favourite on the UFC odds at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

Hermansson came away with a rare unanimous decision victory in his last outing, picking up the win after going a full five rounds with Ronaldo Souza as a +175 underdog at UFC Fight Night 150 to improve his professional MMA record to 20-4 ahead of Saturday’s bout at Royal Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Hermansson earned his first win by decision since September 2016 with his victory over Souza. The 31-year-old finished opponents with first-round submissions in his previous two outings, including a victory over David Branch just 49 seconds into their clash at UFC on ESPN 2 that also earned him his first career Performance of the Night bonus.

The former CWFC middleweight champion also demonstrated his punching power in recent outings. He posted TKO wins in three of his past seven fights, capped by a third-round win over Thales Leites as -140 chalk at online betting sites at UFC 224, and is 7-2 in nine trips to the octagon since joining the UFC in 2016.

Cannonier returns to action as a +195 underdog despite posting decisive TKO wins in his past two outings, paying out on -135 odds with a first-round victory over UFC legend Anderson Silva at UFC 237. The 35-year-old American also impressed in his middleweight debut, earning a Performance of the Night bonus for his second-round TKO victory over David Branch as a +265 underdog at UFC 230.

That victory put a halt to a shaky 1-3 run in Cannonier’s final four fights as a light heavyweight, and improved his pro MMA record to 12-4. However, the Dallas native has never seen a fight extend into championship rounds since joining the UFC in 2015.

Elsewhere on the UFC Fight Night Copenhagen odds, lightweight Mark Madsen will be looking to extend his unblemished pro MMA record to 9-0 when he makes his UFC debut against Danilo Belluardo as a heavy -600 favourite.

Gilbert Burns will try to remain undefeated as a welterweight as he takes on Gunnar Nelson as -145 chalk, while in other UFC welterweight action, Alex Oliveira attempts to end a two-fight losing streak as he battles Nicolas Dalby as a -155 bet.

A pair of light heavyweight tilts are highlighted on Saturday night’s card. Khalil Rountree Jr. squares off against Ion Cutelaba as -135 chalk, while Ovince Saint Preux battles Michal Oleksiejczuk as a +190 underdog.
