A UFC flyweight title bout between Demetrious Johnson and John Moraga is set to headline UFC on FOX 8 on July 27 in Seattle, the UFC confirmed Wednesday night.

Johnson and Moraga were originally scheduled to meet at The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale on April 13, however Johnson was forced to withdraw after suffering a torn labrum in late February.

The two 125-pounders have a combined MMA record of 30-3-1.

Johnson (17-2-1) is coming off a unanimous decision win over John Dodson in the main event of UFC on FOX 6 in January in a fight that’s considered one of the best fights so far in 2013. Johnson, who is riding a three-fight win streak, won the inaugural UFC flyweight championship by defeating Joseph Benavidez by split decision at UFC 152 in Toronto last September.

Moraga (13-1) is 2-0 with two impressive stoppage wins since joining the UFC in 2012. The former Rage in the Cage bantamweight champ TKO’d Ulysses Gomez last August and earned a Submission of the Night win over Chris Cariaso this past December. Moraga’s lone loss was a decision to Dodson at a Nemesis Fighting event in 2010.

According to A.J. Perez of FOXSports.com, TUF 10 veterans Matt Mitrione and Brendan Schaub will meet in a heavyweight matchup on the card.
