Even though he is currently a member of Team Canada on The Ultimate Fighter Nations, Nordine Taleb is set to be a contestant on TUF 19 as well.
The Tristar Gym middleweight was named to the cast of fighters for the upcoming season of the popular UFC reality show.
Taleb (8-2) was edged by Tyler Manawaroa in a quarter-final bout on TUF Nations. The 32-year-old from Montreal did well early in the fight, but broke his foot in the first round and ended up losing a close decision.
Other notable members of the TUF 19 cast include the inaugural Bellator welterweight champion Lyman Good, Maximum Fighting Championship veteran Dhiego Lima, plus former Cage Warriors champions Cathal Pendred and Chris Fields.
The show will be comprised of 32 fighters — 16 middleweights, 16 light-heavyweights. One of the fighters (not listed below) is described as a special contestant that will be revealed during the show’s premiere April 16. The first episode of the season will feature 16 fights with the eight winners from each division moving into the TUF house.
