A handful of notable bouts in the featherweight, bantamweight and flyweight divisions have been added to upcoming UFC cards.

Darren Elkins vs. Hatsu Hioki

A 145-pound bout between Elkins and Hioki has been added to the Aug. 28 UFC on FOX Sports 1: 2 set for the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

Elkins (16-3) had a five-fight win streak snapped in April after he was knocked out in 68 seconds by top contender Chad Mendes. Prior to that, Elkins was the first 5-0 featherweight in UFC history after he dropped down from the lightweight division in 2011.

Throughout his six-year career, the 29-year-old has wins over the likes of Bellator champion Pat Curran, TUF 14 champ Diego Brandao, Michihiro Omigawa and Canadian Antonio Carvalho.

Hioki (26-6-2) is also looking to bounce back from a loss. In January, he dropped a controversial split decision to Clay Guida and prior to that was beaten by Ricardo Lamas.

Before his two-fight skid, Hioki only had one loss in his previous 16 fights. The Japanese star has wins over Mark Hominick, Marlon Sandro, Bart Palaszewski and George Roop.

UFC on FOX Sports 1: 2 is headlined by an anticipated rematch between welterweights Carlos Condit and Martin Kampmann.

Erik Perez vs. Takeya Mizugaki

Bantamweight standouts Perez and Mizugaki will look to continue their win streaks when they meet at UFC on FOX Sports 1: 2.

Perez (13-4) has won eight fights in a row and is 3-0 in the UFC. The 23-year-old Mexican has three first-round victories in the Octagon including a TKO of Byron Bloodworth in his last outing at UFC 155 in December.

Meanwhile, Mizugaki (17-7-2) is on his first multiple-fight win streak since 2008. The former WEC No. 1 contender is coming off back-to-back decision wins over Bryan Caraway and Jeff Hougland.

Louis Gaudinot vs. Tim Elliott

Two top-10 UFC flyweights are set to meet in Milwaukee, as Gaudinot and Elliott will fight one another at UFC 164 on Aug. 31.

Gaudinot (6-2) has not competed in over a year after dealing with various injuries, but the TUF 14 veteran made a major impact in his last UFC fight. He picked up a Fight of the Night award in his submission win over fellow flyweight standout John Lineker — that bout was contested at a 127-pound catchweight after Lineker missed weight.

Elliott (9-3-1) is also coming off a Fight of the Night performance in his last outing, a unanimous decision win over Jared Papazian in December.

Cole Miller vs. Many Gamburyan

The Ultimate Fighter Season 5 teammates will face off at the UFC’s debut event on FOX Sports 1 on Aug. 17 in Boston. Both men were members of Jens Pulver’s team on the popular MMA reality show in 2007.

Miller (19-7) snapped a two-fight losing streak in April with a first-round submission win over Bart Palaszewski. Miller is a five-time UFC fight night bonus winner (three Submission awards, one Knockout and one Fight).

Gamburyan (12-7) also ended a losing streak of his own in his last bout, snapping a three-fight skid last August in a decision win over Michihiro Omigawa. However, Gamburyan has been injury plagued in 2013, having to pull out of two fights.

First, the former WEC No. 1 featherweight contender pulled out of a UFC 157 bout against Chad Mendes with a thumb injury; in May he pulled out of a fight with Hacran Dias.

In other MMA news:

— Douglas Lima has been forced out of his Season 8 Bellator welterweight tournament final matchup with Ben Saunders because of a rib injury. The bout was scheduled to take place at Bellator 97 on July 31. Lima previously defeated Saunders by TKO at Bellator 57 at Casino Rama in Ontario in November 2011.
