England’s Vaughan Lee put on a striking clinic in a unanimous decision win over Nam Phan in preliminary action at UFC Fight Night: Kim vs Hathaway Saturday in Macau, China.

Lee (14-9-1) attacked with a plethora of punches and kicks as he marched forward, hands down, impressing onlookers for the full 15 minutes.

Phan (18-13) has now lost three straight fights in the UFC. All eight of his UFC fights have gone the distance.

The event, which served as The Ultimate Fighter China Finale, took place at the CotaiArena.

Yui Chul Nam lived up to his nickname, “The Korean Bulldozer,” early against Kazuki Tokudome as he dominated the first round of their lightweight bout. Nam knocked Tokudome down several times and inflicted tons of damage, however Tokudome rebounded in the final two frames to make the fight competitive. In the end, Nam was awarded a split decision victory.

The UFC debut of Toronto’s Albert Cheng lasted just five minutes as his bout with Anying Wang was stopped after the first round based on the doctor’s advice. Cheng’s right eye swelled shut after he was on the receiving end of several aggressive flurries from Wang. Both men were competitors on TUF China.

In the opening bout of the night, Mark Eddiva earned a unanimous decision win over Jumabieke Tuerxun in featherweight action. Eddiva, who hadn’t fought an MMA bout in three years, improved to 6-0 as a pro.

Tuerxun is considered China’s top bantamweight prospect and, despite several late submission attempts, was controlled by Eddiva for the majority of the three rounds. The loss was Tuerxun’s first of his career.
