LAS VEGAS – The UFC’s annual International Fight Week is upon us. The fighters are in the process of making weight and many are eagerly hoping to make an impression.
The Ultimate Fighter 25 Finale takes place Friday night with many of the sport’s most intriguing prospects in action.
Drakkar Klose (7-0-1) is taking on Marc Diakiese (12-0) in a featured lightweight bout.
Diakiese improved to 3-0 in the UFC in March with a 30-second knockout of Finland’s Teemu Packalén.
Klose earned a unanimous decision over Devin Powell in his UFC debut in January and is brimming with confidence heading into his bout with Diakiese. Klose describes his opponent as being “just a flashy guy, a wannabe MVP,” referring to Bellator star Michael “Venom” Page.
Also on the card, Tom Gallicchio will make his official UFC debut against TUF 25 castmate James Krause.
Gallicchio (19-9) has been fighting professionally for more than a decade and is relishing the opportunity to finally step insode the Octagon in front of a large crowd.
