TORONTO — Joanna Jedrzejczyk is one of the most dominant champions in the UFC and she will look to defend her strawweight title against Karolina Kowalkiewicz Saturday at UFC 205 at Madison Square Garden in New York.
Jedrzejczyk (12-0) submitted Kowalkiewicz in 2012 when the two were amateurs back in their native Poland and Jedrzejczyk thinks it will be a psychological advantage.
“I heard that she is having some problems with her mentality,” Jedrzejczyk told Sportsnet Monday while in Toronto. “She isn’t confident at all before her fights.”
