TORONTO — The UFC returned to Toronto for the first time in three years and it didn’t disappoint.

Here’s what some of the victorious fighters had to say.

Misha Cirkunov

Cirkunov picked up a first-round submission victory over Nikita Krylov and is hoping for a fight against former champion Mauricio “Shogun” Rua.

Max Holloway

Holloway discussed his third-round TKO victory over Anthony Pettis to capture the interim UFC featherweight championship and then addressed his golden post-fight attire.

Cub Swanson

After his epic win over Doo Ho Choi, Swanson wants people to stop doubting his abilities.

Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone

Cerrone had a massive KO win over Matt Brown and credits his striking coach Brandon Gibson.

Kelvin Gastelum

Gastelum earned an upset TKO victory over Tim Kennedy.

Olivier Aubin-Mercier

Aubin-Mercier said Georges St-Pierre had an influence on his win.

Emil Meek

Meek beat Canadian Jordan Mein in his UFC debut.

Lando Vannata

Vannata earned a highlight-reel knockout victory over John Makdessi.

Matthew Lopez

Lopez gave credit to Trevor Wittman and Justin Gaethje for his win over Mitch Gagnon.

Dustin Ortiz

Viviane Pereira

It was a big week for Pereira. Not only did she win her first fight in the UFC, but she also saw snow for the first time.
