TORONTO — Jamaican star Usain Bolt will line up against four fellow Olympians in the 100 metres at next month’s Festival of Excellence.
The world-record holder and triple gold medallist at the Beijing Olympics, the headliner for the June 11 track meet at Varsity Stadium, will race against American Shawn Crawford, runner-up to Bolt in the 200 in Beijing.
Other Olympians in the field are Canadians Anson Henry and Jared Connaughton, Marvin Anderson of Jamaica and American Bernard Williams.
Crawford won Olympic gold in 2004 and finished 0.66 behind Bolt in the 200 in Beijing.
Mario Forsythe of Jamaica and Ivory Williams of the U.S. are also among the 100-metre field.
