Over the course of the year, I get asked to speak at a number of colleges and universities across Canada. I get asked some pretty wild questions. As a matter of fact, I get asked some pretty wild questions just about wherever I go. They range from the sublime to the ridiculous.
Some examples:
How did I ever end up working at Sportsnet in the first place?
(That’s a very good question).
How in the world do I have still have a job?
(That’s an even better question.)
What kind of movies are you into?
(Hint – One of my favourite characters in one of my favourite movies went by the name Mac Elliot.)
Do you really like wrestling?
Have you ever broken your nose?
Did you win an intra-office lottery to be able to work with Evanka Osmak every week?
Why does my wife feel the need to renovate every room in our house?
With that, I have decided to throw it open to the good sportsnet.ca readers. Ask me anything, and I do mean anything you want – sports, movies, music, life, military history, wrestling, Entourage, screaming kids on a family road trip, life as a military brat, Will Ferrell; ask me anything, because no topic is off limits.
I look forward to your questions.
