Key notes: If you haven’t seen the highlights of his game yet, you HAVE to check them out. After an Atlanta goal, defenceman Keith Ballard was so frustrated that he went to whack his stick against the goal post and he smacked Tomas Vokoun in the head instead. Whoops. Horrific mistake. Nik Antropov (2A, +2, 18:33 TOI, 1:26 PP, no PK, 1 SOG, 7-4 FO for 64%) had been shut down for his past two games, but has been excellent on the whole. Maxim Afinogenov (1G, +2, 19:30 TOI, 1:49 PP, no PK, 1 SOG) got the GWG and it was his first winner of the season, but he has been money in ’09-10 night after night for his poolies.

Kris Russell (1G, 1A, +3, 23:06 TOI, 4:10 PP, 0:09 PK, 1 SOG) had just four points on the season coming in and although his single-season value is really limited right now, he’ll be one of those guys that develops into a really nice offensive threat from the back end when his game finally matures. Jakub Voracek (1A, +1, 15:29 TOI, 3:59 PP, 0:09 PK, 1 SOG) has points in four of seven now.
