CALGARY — Injuries continue to take a toll on UFC 149.
The latest fighter forced to pull out of the July 21 card at Calgary’s Scotiabank Saddledome is welterweight striker Siyar Bahadurzada. American Matthew Riddle will step in for the Afghan-Dutch 170-pounder against Canadian Chris (The Menace) Clements.
Fighters forced to drop off the card include featherweight champion Jose Aldo, heavyweight Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, light-heavyweight Thiago Silva, middleweight Michael Bisping, welterweights Thiago Alves and Yoshihiro Akiyama, featherweight George Roop, and bantamweight Bibano Fernandes.
