OAKVILLE, Ont. — Krista McCarville won the Ontario Scotties Tournament of Hearts women’s curling championship on Sunday.
The Thunder Bay, Ont., native beat Alison Goring of Brampton, Ont., 5-3 in 10 ends to take the title match.
McCarville, joined by third Tara George, lead Lorraine Lang and second Kari MacLean, scored in the fourth, seventh and eighth ends for 3-1 advantage going into the ninth, but Goring tied it up.
McCarville scored twice in the 10th to secure the victory.
