An official was sent to the hospital following a fight that broke out at the 2013 World Ball Hockey Championship in Newfoundland on Saturday, according to the Toronto Sun.
Canada’s Justin Pender chased a Czech opponent across the rink at the end of the quarterfinal game.
Two officials and the Czech goalie were caught in the middle as Pender continued to punch the Czech player.
According to the St. John’s Telegram, Pender was given a double match penalty for his actions.

It is also reported that Team Canada player Terry Ryan said he supports what Pender did to the Czech players.
Canada lost the game 5-1.
