Shaun White, widely known for his X-Games glory, Olympic gold medals in snowboarding, and the rockstar red mop on his head, decided to get rid of the cherished locks for charity.
The Flying Tomato donated his hair to Locks of Love, a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the United States and Canada under the age of 21 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis.
White posted a video of his brave act for the good cause.
“I’ve been thinking about this for awhile,” White said nervously, leading up to the cut.
